Seeing as how most 03 and all of the 04 models come stock with hinge frames now, I thought this would be an appropriate thread to share with everyone. This is taken from the wgppress forums (by Biochemlab) and I have included a reference URL below.
Tools Needed: 3/32 Allen Wrench - Grip Screws, Frame Screws, Drop Froward Screws 5/64 Allen Wrench - Set Screws, Trigger Adjustment 7/64 Allen Wrench - Cam Adjuster (only to adjust the pull setting) Small Punch - Removing Sear and Trigger Pins (or use allen key) Small Flat Head Screw Driver - Re-install Cam or Safety (hold spring down) First, please read this entire article to make sure you only do what you need to in order to reach your goal (i.e.: change spring, shorten pull, etc.) Trigger Adjustment: Ok, take the frame off of the body. Remove any drop forward, rail, or other air system components. Then remove the rubber grip. This gives you the opportunity to shorten your trigger pull. As seen below, insert the 5/64 allen key into the hole inside the frame. There is a set screw inside. Turn as the picture says. Remember, you will have to retime the 3way and hammer lug in order to shorten your pull. Basically you raise the lug and move the actuator collar forward on the 3way. Sear and spring removal: Next is removing the sear. This will give you access to the sear spring, allowing you to change it to a lighter one if you wish. First, there is a set screw in the top of the frame that requires a 5/64th allen key as seen below. Remove the set screw. Once that is removed, it is not very hard to push the sear pin out. You can use an allen key. Once the pin is out. The sear and the spring come right out. Remember that the spring is tapered at one end. That end goes down into the frame and the wider end pushes on the sear. Here is a pic with the sear and spring out of the frame. Safety/Cam removal/replacement: If you are replacing the safety for a cam or vice-versa, you only need to follow the instructions regarding the Cam/Safety. The Sear and Trigger does not need to come out. Push the cam or safety out of the frame from the left to the right as seen below. There is a tiny spring and ball bearing under it (cam or safety). DO NOT LOSE THESE!! Here is a close up of the Safety (at top) and Cam Adjuster (bottom) with the spring and ball bearing in the middle. When putting back in the safety or cam, push it in from the right to the left and use the small screw driver to hold down the spring and ball bearing that go in the little hole on the left of the frame inside the safety/cam hole. Sorry, I forgot a pic of that hole. Trigger Removal: Next is removing the trigger itself. There is a set screw holding in the trigger pin. Here is how to get to the set screw. Then the trigger pin (which is shorter than the sear pin) should come out. You can use an allen key as a punch or a normal punch to get it out and use a little force (not a lot). See below: Once that is removed the trigger and the spring like curved peice of metal in front comes out. Remember, this bent piece of metal goes back in with the flat side forward and the curved side against the trigger like it is laying in the pic below. That pic is all the internals of the trigger frame. Now that you have it completely apart, replace what you need to and put it back together. Once you have taken it apart, it is pretty easy to put back together. Reference URL: http://www.wgppress.com/viewtopic.php?t=13555 Trigger Mod: This mod was originally done on pbnation and it makes your trigger pull feel almost magnetic. First a trip to Staples is required where you will need to buy a Delta Elite pen. They should still come in packs of 3 but it must be a Delta Elite. Following the instructions above start by taking off your trigger frame. Take out your sear and the sear spring. You can also take out your trigger return spring to make your pull lighter. Unscrew the top of the pen and remove the top spring. It is the exact same size as the stock sear spring just lighter. Replace the stock sear spring and reassemble. The trigger should not only be lighter but also snappier. Whats even better is after you use your pens spring you can replace the stock sear spring in the pen(slightly modified). You just have to use some pliers to widen the top of the spring so it fits the push thing on the pen. So not only do you get a great trigger pull you also get a cool pen.
