 WDP recently unveiled the new Fly G7 at the Campaign Cup (Millenium series) over the weekend.Thing looks pretty sleek and it has some other upgrades to go along with the new look. Angel G7 FLY Features: Weight-loss: The G7 Fly is over 2 ounces ighter than the regular G7. Threading: Short barrel thread allowing for aggressive front cut-away styling. FLY Milling: Back to the bone 3D sculpting with unique G7 FLY signature design Trigger: New ‘Breakaway Trigger’ with adjustable Magnetic tension and snappier action, further enhancing what is already the fastest trigger on earth. Debounce: Debounce adjustability, to ensure you are ‘field legal’ no matter where you are. Firing modes: All the modes, for all the leagues Grips: Custom, color-coded TPR Gripper Panels with unique Fly design. The G7 FLY also retains key performance features from the original Angel G7. Price is $1495. Expect to see these bad boys on sale at the upcoming NPPL event in San Diego as well. (Probably at least one Avalanche player will be using one)

This gun also uses the new Angel threading and the "breakaway" grip frame. There are rumors that WDP will possibly release a retrofit kit that will allow the new frame to be placed on older G7s, though no specific date has yet been set. Big debate is on the new barrel threading. Even though it resembles autococker threads, they are in fact different and WDP has announced that these will be the standard threading on all future markers. Reportedly WDP contemplated cocker threading but it wouldnt have allowed for the cut away they acheived at the front of the markers.
