well flatline is the only known barrel to add distance(up to 100 ft) but if you break paint your screwed and you cant do a ball to barrel match like you can w/ the freak,so i would say the freak cuz you can size the paint and if you break paint you can clean it pretty easily

I say buy something cheap like a CP barrel to tide you over until you can save up some cash for a better gun. Use you money towards a more high level gun.
