Nike or Adidas?

Which kind of shoes do you guys prefer for athletic shoes. I need some new ones for training. I want good cushioning and support. I always wore adidas but some of the Nike stuff looks nice. So before i spend around 100 bucks for shoes, i want some opinions.

i hear shocks are good but id never pay 100 dollars for a shoe even for training or sports i just go to discount stores

yeah some shocks are okay, but MAN are some stiff. I dont know if they're supposed to be broken in that much or what...

personally i prefer to buy the cheapest pair of shoes i can find, as long as they cover my feet and will last at least 6 months i'm good, but i usually war DC shoes, i find they are the most comfortable, and yes i know they aren't athletic shoes but i'm not very athletic

even tho i havnt worn real shoes for about 5 months except for an hour of weight training back when i was in school

been grounded so idont even get to wear shoes for paintball...even tho i knw some guys that will stop by the field in like a tshirt, jeans and flip flops, play one game and be all hardcore in the snack, and leave spotless

probably not a good call asking on a forum like this....probably not many very athletic people.lol
Anyways, the thing that is holding me back from Nikes is they are made in like malaysia or whatever so i dont know if they are made too well...
