who all here has or does skimboard? Its a bit more practical for me where i live.
before dennis hit about 130-170 miles away from us we had chest hi shore breaks, at a place that never ever ever has anything resembling waves. when we cant get away to the beach we go in this creek, thats about 2 inches deep and has a sandy bottom. we just put a pvc pipe rail in there but i havnt got to use it yet. we also go to lake and tow eachother on a 4wheeler. sometimes if theres enuff rain to flood the golf course we can go out there but as soon as the storm ends we usaully get kicked out, or at the snottiest gated neighborhood weve had the police called. its great if theres a constant downpour cuz there are plenty of hills that get streams goin down it. my freind bought a camera just to record some of this stuff so we should have some sick vids soon. ill try to find my friends first one, its pretty short but not bad for the first one, but its all in the creek pre rail. i tried to attatch a pic of my new board(i dont know if it worked), this pic was takin when i bought it, which is why theres no wax/pad on it. but its 53 inch, pretty nice, also got a woody for goin on muddy/crappy junk. my skim buddys got a niiiiiiice vic vinylester like this http://www.skimcity.com/obi/showdetl...D=1491&CATID=2 but its a m/l i belive, not XL and an old zap wedge. so post pics or vids of you skimmin, your boards or whatever your heart desires |

mexico sounds so fun....i gotta go to cancun one of these days. but yeah skimboarding is a bit more practical than surfing for where i am...but i know a guy who can actually paddle out and catch the real waves further out with his board.

well i went flat land skimming yesterday dring a thunger storm. there are a good amount of places around my house that are skimmable during rain. i busted pretty bad yesterday in front of some people watching me...if you can call a car that stopped for like 10 seconds. but yeah i went for a 360 shuv it and died. i think i woulda made it if i had bothered to wax the back part of my board. i waxed the front but ive got a traction pad on the way and i dont wanna wax it to just strip it again.
i think im gunna go out today with some of the guys, we built a rail, and might be gettin a wakeskate to playaround on |

Mines like flexable plastic. It doesn't seem like they should be that flexable, but thats how mine is. It's a Maui. LOL
