Ion range problems

Played with my Ion today, and had some issues. Had exteme drop off when shooting more than 2 bps. I messed with the dwell and rate of fire settings and got it so it would shoot with out drop off, but the range was horrible. I'm talking 25-30 yards off rental and Spyders from Walmart. Any ideas out there of where to start my adjustments? I set the dwell at 48 and the rate at 0. I first started at dwell 40 and rate 8. I was shooting between 275-292 at the chrono.

well considering the ion reg isnt great get one of those in the future .. and ummm take it to your local proshop ...or turn your velocity ???

I took it there today. They said my air presure was a bit low. So since the reg is not that great, any recomendations on an upgrade reg?

custom products reg... they are a great upgrade reg for the ion ... i have one for sale if you would like 70 $ new !
