in Congress when they were needed? I heard no one stand up and demand proof
to justify the invasion of Iraq. I heard no one demand that the President
come before Congress and request that the "peoples'" representatives declare
war on Iraq based on the proof presented by the Administration. Where in

there shaking and wetting themselves thinking that they might have to be
held accountable for something. If you think there are two political
parties in this country you are wrong. One party that thinks the federal
government should be as large and intrusive as it can controls things. Only

Nah - it really was about OIL. Americans love their big cars and
SUVs. Murdering thousands of iraqis is fine with all repugs and lots
of dems if that keeps the price of gas low. We need to phase out big
cars and return to lower speed limits to reduce our gas consumption
but that is suicide for any politician to say . Better to kill
innocent arabs. Gore would have probuly invaded iraq too, though he
likely would have done a better job of it.

No one disputes that he RULES (remember when there was a revolution

I always knew that this would take a long time to resolve. I never confused
the timeline for the invasion with the rest of the war the way the left
seemed to do. I have a son in the marines over there, and cousin working as
a translator in Iraq. I am getting constant emails about the situations over
there from them.
