Watched 2 minutes of O'Reilly tonight (painful as always: necessary
every few months for masochistic entertainment).

To a guest (yelling):

"You don't allow minors to get tattoos or piercings, but you allow them
to get abortions! That's insane, isn't it!"

---
Spin. (v. tr.) To provide an interpretation of (a statement or event,
for example), especially in a way meant to sway public opinion.
---

Pretty SOP: Neither spin-less nor "fair and balanced."

What a cynical bunch of anti-American drivel Fox is.

And that is coming from a pro-choice moderate/liberal.

A conservative buddy of mine was enamored with O'Reilly and bought hook,
line, and proverbial sinker the "fair and balanced" bull. So I'd watch
O'Reilly's show and document all his highly biased blarney and other
disingenuous shenanigans. The body of evidence got so deep he was forced
to cry "uncle".

It's owned by an Australian who wants to suck up to Bush so he can expand
his US media empire.

The recent FCC ruling in favour of greater concentration of media ownership
was payback for the loyalty Murdoch and others have shown to the Bush
Administration.

Did I mention Powell's son is head of the FCC?

Not really.

A tattoo will deface that person for life - just as an unwanted pregnancy
will also blight their life.

So you tell them not to get a tattoo....and if they get pregnant, you
counsel then as to whether keeping ir not is wise - given their age and
lack of education and opportunities in the world.

It makes sense if you THINK about it.

Too many people have given up on thinking....which is part of the problem
facing America today...and this lack of thought makes it possible for
criminals like G W Bush to pull the wool over the eyes of too many.

They don't know who to believe becasue they don't actaully KNOW anything.

There is a constitutional right to an abortion. There is no right to self
mutilation, at least not yet.

No, it does not, unless you come from the perspective that all abortions

True, we call these people "liberals."

There is no constitutional right to abortion. That was just made up
nonsense.

In your opinion. The opinion of others differ. The only opinion that
should matter is that of the two people who made an abortion
necessary. Ain't it funny that the people that are screaming about
abortion for the most part are the same people that can't manage their
own lives so they want to manage others. Look at the Bush family for a
prime example of not managing your family. They're as fucked up as
they come.

Just think, the asshole that runs this country said
in one of his drunken stupors.....

"You fucking son of a *****. I saw what you wrote.
We're not going to forget this."
A drunken George W., storming into a Mexican diner
in Dallas, and approaching Al Hunt (Wall Street Journal editor)
.. Al was dining with his wife and 4 year old son,
when Dubya interrupted cursing for several minutes
in front of everyone.
