From Reuters, 7/3/03: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...nomy_claims_dc New Jobless Claims Unexpectedly Jump WASHINGTON (Reuters) - New claims for U.S. jobless benefits unexpectedly jumped last week, the government reported on Thursday, but may have been affected by volatility from the end of the school year. The Labor Department reported that 430,000 people applied for benefits in the week ended Saturday, up 21,000 from the previous week, and higher than the 410,000 expected on average by Wall Street analysts. __________________________________________________ ______ 2004 can't come too soon for me.
