BAGHDAD, Iraq (Reuters) - The U.S. military said a bomb-making class inside a mosque triggered a deadly explosion that enraged the Iraqi town of Falluja, where residents vowed Wednesday to wage holy war against U.S. occupiers. U.S. Central Command said a blast at a mosque in Falluja, west of Baghdad, Monday night was caused by people being taught how to make bombs in the building. It said a joint investigation conducted with Falluja police had determined that coalition forces were in no way responsible for the blast. Residents had blamed it on an American air strike -- an accusation U.S. military officials flatly denied. Iraqis living in the town said nine people were killed, including the mosque's imam, or prayer leader. ---------- No doubt the IndyMedia retards will come up a photo "proving" that the bomb was planted by the US. Ha! It looks like the Falluja turkeys who are "threatening" a holy war against the US haven't been paying attention. There was a whole bunch of that garbage from "elite" Republican Guard members and Saddam Fedayeen punks who "vowed" to fight until the last drop of blood. Then they ran away like frightened goats when the fighting started. That was still better than the performance turned in by "The Lion of Baghdad" himself. He didn't even show up. If the residents of Falluja want to end up like the Palestinian idiots, then that's OK. If we have to, we'll introduce them to Mr MOAB. Seeing as how the Fallujans sucked off Saddam for 30 years maybe that's just what they deserve. |

We could just look at the "unargued" points : Explosion occurred at 11:00 PM. There were no other recent reports of late night US air-based attacks. BUT there were several people who were very Anti-American and who had, in recent weeks, advocated violence against the US, including the Imam of that Mosque. Just a few months before the war, Hussein released almost every prisoner, in every jail throughout the nation. The pictures released, of the injured, show no standard shrapnel "direct-distribution" wounds (compare to early war photos, especially of children). Instead, you have burns and primarily concussive blast wounds. Too much of the higher parts of the mosque were remarkably unscathed, including large sections of glass that had remained in their frames (broken, but largely still in their frames). Almost ALL weapons in use by our military will leave easily identifiable debris. If the Iraqi's had found an iota of proof, they'd have trumped it by now. It's also peculiar how no interviews at surrounding or nearby areas mention any aircraft. Only the very local supporters of that particular mosque (and sympathetic to that Imam) are mentioning a helicopter or fighter-jet. During the war, EVERYONE acknowledged that the Iraqi's had stored weapons in Mosques (hospitals, schools and even nursing homes). The "weight" of evidence seems to lean strongly in favor of this being a case of simple "natural selection" at work. |
