Alan, your expressed contempt demonstrates a selective and prejudiced left-slant. You DO toady to leftist sentiment and pseudo-liberal partyline mantras. You led the left-wise goosestep against Dr. Laura. There is NO objectivity and NO mitigation in your biased commentary. > I've been exercising that > contempt in these posts. You can see the results. Luk and Steve have > both obediently responded, "Yes, it was indeed a great day". You > couldn't make it up. I agree with Luk and Steve that it was GREAT that Gore lost the election to GW Bush especially in view of the subsequent 9/11 terror attacks. Bush has been maligned as a "cowboy", but frankly, I prefer the "cowboy", in the spirit of John Wayne's idolic image, to greasy "flakey boy" Gore. God forbid, Bush is sincerely religious, but comparing his sincerity to Clinton's & Gore's slick phoniness, Bush's unabashed simplicity and sincerity is appreciated. > > Now you've popped in, too, but to be frank, I have no idea what point > you're trying to make, or indeed if you are trying to make one. > > So no change there. My point is: Steve's and Luk's patriotism is commendable, and rather bravely expressed in the anti-American atmosphere. Your petty mockery of their sentiments defines your ever-imposing contentiousness as expressed in the left-bent biases(regurgitated leftist partylines)of your commentaries. While you search the Belgium shores for "America's lost freedoms", you should also seek the objectivity and the humanistic reasoning so absent in your thinking. While Americans are characterized as "arrogant", there is nothing in the Western hemisphere which compares to your arrogant air of superiority, not even Melissa's perennial pedantic myopia which even perplexes her academic peers. My precise point is: your sour biases are as obvious as your deficiency in humanistic perspective. Alan, you are the "lockstep toady" who goads Steve and Luk. As ever, from Nan |
