First Impressions: When I first received it I was amazed at how nicely it had been made and felt it was worth every penny. The craftsmanship is great. Places where excess could be taken off has had that material taken off. At first I thought it would be hard to pull out when I wanted to do maintenance on my ego. I found this to be not true because of how the new pin was cut you could get a real good grip even with gloves on.
Testing: He had said to shoot it 8-10 times with stock pin and than 8-10 times with new delrin pin to see difference so I did. Immediately after changing to the new pin I could feel the difference. My ego which already had very little kick, had even less kick. Not content to use just 8-10 shots to test and than review this pin, I went and filled my tank to do some more extensive testing. First I decided to shoot some paint that I had. I shot about 140 paintballs. Than I shot around 800 Reballs and than went and refilled my tank and shot around 400 more. After shooting about 1340 balls through my gun with this pin I now feel I have enough information to give a more accurate review. The gun as already mentioned had very little kick. When I shot the first pod I noticed how little kick there was and how easy it was to hold the gun on target even at high ROF. Using the Reballs I tried setting the gun to Ramp 2 to 15.4 BPS. I shot 3 pods of Reballs like that and the gun hardly didn’t kick at all. The rest of the Reballs I shot performed just as the other ones.
Conclusion: In conclusion the delrin bolt pin by P8ntball4less did everything I had wanted it to when I purchased it and more. Not only did it look better with the Scarlet Red, but it gave me less kick and made me like the Ego even more because of it. So if you have the $20 dollars it costs, I completely recommend this product and believe you should buy one.
