Ok, here's the deal. I have a mint condition black DM5 right now. I have a new black Proto on the way that I traded for. Well heres the deal, I want to get an iPod, so I figured that I'd sell the Proto for roughly 600 bucks, buy an iPod for 350 or so and have 250 or so left. Now do you think that I would be able to dish off my DM5 plus 250 cash or so for a Nexus Ego that retials for around 16-1700 right now?

Yes...LOL. If you knew me, you'd know I'd need it. The thing is I've ALWAYS loved Eclipse. I used to be huge into cockers and eclipse has always been one of my fav. companies, but the normal ego wasn't too apealing to me in looks, but the gold/blue nexus is flat out the hottest gun i've ever seen. And if I was to get one, it would probably my last gun for a while(like 1-2 years) which is a LONG time for me considering I usually pick up a new gun in a couple months. I'm not able to go ballin much so i just want to get the gun I want and be done with it for a while and i figure since I got such a good deal on the proto( Trade straight up for my iPod) that i wouldnt be losing out. I'd just be gaining.

I only got into paintball about 2 years ago..my first tournament ever was in september 04'. I went from a Brass Eagle Raptor, to a Tippmann Procarbine (which I used in my first tournament, and we ended up taking third place), and then a Macdev Cyborg (which I am currently under sponsorship with them). I like my Cyborg, and i'll probably have it for a long time to come
 ...the Ego's are definately nice though. I've shot one and I was able to rip on it. the triggar is much nicer then a Borg's but I feel the consistency of a borg is much better, and same with the accuracy. The stock triggar on the borg isn't that good but I bought an FBM wave and now my gun is perfect. |
