HE CAN'T! Neither can you or I. I can't say that the damned tourney
players are responsible, but still I do no accuse the other people of
doing it.

Okay, I won't engage you except to show that you are wrong.

http://www.beast-enterprises.com/ccw.html
http://www.gunowners.org/sk0104.htm
http://www.catb.org/~esr/guns/gunslott.html

Excerpt from the conclusion of the last one:

"Allowing citizens without criminal records or histories of significant
mental illness to carry concealed handguns deters violent crimes and
appears to produce an extremely small and statistically insignificant
change in accidental deaths. If the rest country had adopted
right-to-carry concealed handgun provisions in 1992, at least 1,570
murders and over 4,177 rapes would have been avoided. On the other hand,
consistent with the notion that criminals respond to incentives, county
level data provides evidence that concealed handgun laws are associated
with increases in property crimes involving stealth and where the
probability of contact between the criminal and the victim are minimal.
The largest population counties where the deterrence effect on violent
crimes is the greatest is also where the substitution effect into these
property crimes is the highest. The estimated annual gain in 1992 from
allowing concealed handguns was over $6.21 billion."

If you make up statistics does that make it true?

Apparently yes if you're an American president.

Warning??

Where are you getting your statistics to make a statement either way?

I like to consider myself an "Info Nut". I try to not take any sides
without proper backing of legit documentation. I do not mean biased
in one way or another either.

Remember you are also posting to a newsgroup which tends to be a
little bit more educated and older (at least appear to be :-)) than a
bunch of kids in a forum.

A fair way to judge this is normally a newsgroup/usenet does not go
for all of the fads and such in a forum as they tend to of outgrown or
gotten board with them. Another thing to think about is generally a
newsgroup member generally knows quite a bit more about computers and
the Internet in general than the braggarts in forums so you might not
want to go that route either.

You cannot admin/moderate a Newsgroup/Usenet either they are 100%
Public. They have been around openly since the late '70s.

You may however want to check the admin on wildpb.com instead and get
him to undo his so called improvements to his website which are
causing confusion in both locations.

I do not know but I personally think that most tourney players play
some sort of speedball/x-ball.

This would tend to lean towards the younger crowd being tourney
players.

Think of it generally being the young bulls who like to run down the
hill quickly to do it with a few calves and get the notoriety. The
older bulls like to take there time, walk down and get them all and
remember with a quite sense of fulfillment.

Think about that for a little bit. ;-)

Then how on earth is alt.religion.wicca.moderated (and others)
moderated? Except by faking approval headers, posts don't get in
without going through their modbot.

Good possibility is that the original creator and holder of the group
is still around and looking.

Most newsgroups are in open limbo (held from server to server, no
particular one) and straight up public use.
