I hear he's finally done what he should have done years ago, left the sport,
long overdue. It's a stinking disgrace that clowns like him have been able
to get away with such garbage year after year, get kicked out of one league
and just move to another, knock people out and laugh about it, but I suppose
to some folks that's preferable to a kid taking a paintball gun to school.

Actually, I think that all of those would be really good ideas (if not
for the legal issues at the courthouse.) Lots of people fly with of
guns, and I almost always carry a gun to the grocery store. Hell, I
have a .38 Special in my pocket right now.

You and I both know that it's ONLY a good idea if EVERYONE has that very
same idea. An armed society is a polite society, but a somewhat armed
society is definitely NOT polite, because they don't need to be. If you
think it's a good idea to carry a gun to your regular grocery store, I
highly suggest finding a better grocery store to shop at. Perhaps one where
the people wait to rob you until you're at least back in the car or
something.

Not really. It works best as a deterrent (like the saying says) and you
don't need EVERYONE armed. You just need enough people armed that any
miscreant who thinks about jumping up and robbing the grocery store has
to assume that it is likely that one of the customers inside has a gun
on them. (And the Texas and Florida crime stats support that.) I'm not
going to start popping off, because I've go to assume that if I piss off
50 people, at least one of them is going to have a gun too.

And I don't carry it because I think I am likely to need it. I carry it
because when you need a gun, you NEED a gun.
