Hmmm, that sound a bit gay.

Seriously, thanks for the encouraging words. I was really pissed off but
I'm cool now.

I'll get this out of the way first: screw you for buying SP.
That aside, in personal experience, I've had good luck with Apache
products. Borrowed and friends' Eggies and Halos are always down or
breaking, it seems. The Halo's different because it's the only actual
force-feed of the three, but not worth the extra money if you don't have
it to toss around. Apaches are reliable and quite fast enough for the
normal finger. And yes, the 'deflective shape' does work to an extent.
From longer range, it usually does deflect anything but the most
brittle balls--usually directly into your mask.

Cool! Some days I feel like I'm the only one who still cares about
that.

Oh, it's not just because of the lawsuits. It's also because their stuff
is overhyped and overpriced. Mainly the reason I don't buy DYE stuff.
Dye's different, though--I *would* buy their stuff, but I can find
cheaper stuff that fulfills my purposes fine. I just have a vendetta
against SP. Also in part because they've become THE marker company below
the DM4/5/C, and I enjoy showing people Tippmans, Phantoms, and even my
Sheridan work perfectly fine.

I mean that is shoots just as consistently as anything the TWIBS have,
and I have shot guys with Timmies and Impulses just as often--likely
more--than they've shot me. And still have the great majority of my
day's 500 balls left. :P

If you play Supairball all day long and you are not using a pump and
still have some (majority?) of your original 500 paintballs then I
have a few questions for you.
1. Are using a Pump Marker?
2. How many rounds/games did you actually play?
3. Did you actually move after you got to your first bunker(are you a
camper?)?
4. Did you just go along for the ride?
5. Is anybody else moving or was there a pro carrying all the weight?

If I play supair all day that is at least 8-10+ games I easily smoke a
bag of 500 paintballs. That is not spraying everything either but
being conservative. Now I can do it and stay under 1000 pb's and
probably donating a pod full to someone.

Admittedly I shoot pretty quick but not wildly and normally choose my
targets very well.

I am not trying to be sarcastic or anything I just want to know how
you do it?

Wasn't this included in your little summary? Since you *said* that I'm
not using a pump, let's just assume that, no, I'm not using a pump.
But most of the time I do use a pump. Even in speedball. Occasionally
I'll pull out my A5, and I still hold that three and four shots a second
works just as well as thirty.
> 2. How many rounds/games did you actually play?

I get out almost every game, and of course miss the speedball games
called while I'm in the woods, which is my forte. Altogether, it usually
turns out to almost a dozen.
> 3. Did you actually move after you got to your first bunker(are you a

Yes, I move. It's strategic motion, so I use less rounds shooting people
in their side than if I tried to shoot through the cracks in their
bunkers. Also, as a pump player, other people provide the great majority
of my cover. For future reference, people aren't frighted on a Phantom's
cover fire--the first time. Once you take a heartbeat to aim, they learn
to stay the hell down next time.
> 4. Did you just go along for the ride?

No. No one with a Phantom or PGP is just 'along for the ride'.
> 5. Is anybody else moving or was there a pro carrying all the weight?

Pro. In paintball. On a rec field. If I wasn't running on caffeine and
insomnia, I'd laugh heartily at you. It's a standard rec field. Some
people don't move, some know what the hell they're doing, and some run
around like retards experimenting with fireworks.

If you want to learn, get a PGP. Hell, a Talon would work. I've used
them on the walk-on. You pick your shots, and shoot slower when you do.
You move faster, and find out where the best angles are. You learn how
people are working, and try not to be predictable. Even with a semi, the
'BRRRRRRT' of bunker-painting cover fire to hide your motions becomes a
'pop... pap... pop..." as you carefully keep two separate people down on
your little crouched stroll to the next bunker.
No, it's not the same speedball on TV.

Great so you were talking Scenario mainly. I have a couple of people
that read this group and questioned how you could aggressively play
Supairball all day and still have paint left from a bag of 500 balls
and still be part of the winning group.

Now realize they do not believe in spray and pray either but another
name for non scenario is speedball. Henceforth you will have a higher
consumption of paintballs through a good day of games.

I have seen many a game of x-ball/speedball/supairball with evenly
matched aggressive players easily go through a bag of paint in a game.
If you are a good back man you can easily go through a bag without
thinking about it.

ummmm, can i just post my opinion with out someone saying stupif bak. MY
choice would be the egg2. i love them. i had one stock on my shocker and
and iv never choped because of the hopper. i have the z board in it now
but i havent bought paint and air to see how fast it goes. the z board
is only $25. and its like what? 25bps, 23 i think. i think the stock egg
would be good for an ion mainly because it does 17bps? and only 15 with
the new rules. unless u want to buy the halo because it faster. and the
egg is back farther which is really kool. goodluck with whatever your
buy.
