Invest in a fan, they work. We used to get these little 12-volt fans from Radio Shack, maybe three-eighths of an inch thick and an inch and a half across, we'd zip-tie them to the top of our masks and wire them up to a nine-volt battery taped to the goggle strap, worked great, cost maybe fifteen bucks. |

I've done the same with my V-Force Shields, since they do fog up a
little on me. I picked up a half-dozen 12v 25mm laptop fans on (I think) Ebay, some 9v battery connectors, small toggle switches, and zip ties. Cost me maybe $5 per mask... |

I've tried several masks and ALL fog. I had an JT Nvader mask with a thermal lens and it fogged. I bought a fan that helped a little but the fan impaired my hearing. I bought a Proto Switch FS with thermal lens and a fan but it still fogged and the fan did not work as well as the as the JT fan. I'm currently using a JT Proflex. It has been by far the best. It has soft ear protection and is the lightest mask I've used. I don't even use a fan. It has fogged a couple of times but very rarely. I played this past weekend and it was very hot and very humid and raining a lot. I only fogged once breifly. I highly recommend the JT Proflex. I play with a bunch of guys who swear by the Vforce Profiler but I have bot had the chance to try them yet. |
