I have been fighting this trigger for a while now. It will rapid-fire
occaisonally but 95% of the time it shoots just as if there is no
Response Trigger installed on it.
The " troubleshooting" directions from Tippmann say to close the
adjustment screw on the side all the way and fire several shots. If
all is well the trigger should become hard or impossible to pull.
Well, mine just keeps firing singe shots forever. According to
Tippmann this indicates a leak somewhere. Where and how should I
look for this leak? Where is it most likely to be? Any and all help
would be appreciated!

Thanks!
R

The number one culprit with these symptoms seems to be the o-ring between
the grip assembly and the body. If you pull the quick-release pins and take
the grip assembly away from the body, you'll see a shiny little nozzle
sticking out of the grip frame. On that nozzle is a small O-ring. Try
lubing the hell out of that O-ring with some Hoppes gun oil (or the oil that
came with your A-5) and put it back together again. Now try fiddling with
the Response Trigger adjustment screw. That might fix it. Hope it helps.

A spray bottle of soapy water. Gas up the gun, spray the soapy water
liberally on the gun. Where bubbles form, that's your leak. Replace
appropriate o-ring, lather, rinse, repeat. Simple, easy, cheap.
