I goofed up and bought a 14" pmi razzor barrel for my marker. The
problem is that my gun has threads for spyder type barrels. Do they
make barrel adapters that will allow you to put a 98 barrel on a spyder
gun? I've seen lots of adapters doing the opposite of what I want.
What I have seen online looks like it might be a misprint - the threads
on the image look like they are for a 98.

I'd rather not return the barrel to the store because it will probably
cost more than an adapter to mail it and pay the restocking fee.

Thanks,
crjunk

cost you to return it!? that's crap. anyway, i've never seen an adapter
or whatever you call it for the tippmann barrel to the sypder. But it
shouldn't cost money to return it. If you got it online, you have to
pay shipping, if you bought it at a store, you don't get tax back.
But you could always forge your own lol

Well, here's my two cents. The Razor barrel isn't the greatest barrel.
Its better than a stock, but not by much. My brother has one, and I've
played with it alot. You would be better off getting a different
barrel, like the Flatline (for woods, its amazing... *drools*). BUT, if
you don't want to spend more money, or if you are thinking of getting a
spyder exclusive barrel another time, then you should buy the adapter.
I'll find one and post it here, h/o.

Another option: it might be worthwhile to look around and see if
anyone in your area has a spyder-threaded barrel of some sort that
they would be willing to trade for the one you bought. Poke around at
the local paintball shops or buy/sell forums and maybe something will
turn up. As well, you might be able to sell the barrel and take less
of a hit than returning it or buying an adaptor -- it just depends on
how much each of the three options will cost.

I lucked up and found someone that wanted to buy it from me, so I'm
just out a few bucks for the shipping that I paid when ordering it. I
never did come across an adapter.

I ended up getting a Spart Parts Progress 14".
