Team tippmann plays with the A5.
The A5 is a heavy gun, but well suited for woods/scenario game. Extremely reliable! If you intend to do alot of speedball, you are looking at he wrong type of marker entirely. Better would be an electronic marker like the e-99, or kingman spyder. The tippy 98's flatline is not that great, somewhat difficult to align, and the shroud seems to have a flimsy feel to it. The A5's flatline was built for the A5. Solid installation to say the least. Upgrade tree for the A5. A5, flatline barrell Palmer stabilzer (the verticle one) HP kit, and a 3000psi nitro tank. (integrates the stabilizer) egrip. One nice thing about the tippy98, is that there are tons of mods, but none of them do anything to the performance, they just look cool. FYI. www.pbreview.com has excellent forums for every paintball product imaginable. |

I just think A-5 is cooler. It's not hard to put an e-trigger on it.
And also it's just better in general |

I think you mean LP kit, and is will not make a noticable difference in performance. waste of money. an egrip will top out the A5 as far as performance. faster rate of fire, or buy one with a response trigger if you are not going to use it in a tourney of any sort as the R/T is illegal in them. R/T is cheaper and will get you a higher rate of fire if desired. > One nice thing about the tippy98, is that there are tons of mods, but > none of them do anything to the performance, they just look cool. > > FYI. www.pbreview.com has excellent forums for every paintball product > imaginable. Tippmann custom 98- good NORMAL barrel electronic hopper. (remember- the A-5 has an excellent mechanical feed hopper built right on...so no need to plonk $50.00 for the hopper) HPA tank for same reasons above for A-5. R/T or e-bolt if desired. NOW everything else is a waste of money. (ebolt probably is a waste too...Tippmann is still selling them for 295.00!!!!!) R/T if you want faster rates of fire on the cheap. |
