The Tippman SL-68 pump is a really nice pump marker. Since Tippman does not
make them any longer they are getting harder and harder to find. The main
thing I like about this is the co2 tank screws into the handle. Then on top
of that they are good quality marker. Anyone know of similar pump markers
where the Co2 tank screws right into the handle???
Thanks.

Tippmann's pretty the only company of which I'm aware that casts their
whole markers in big chunks like that, body, handle and all. You can
set up pretty much any pump marker in the same config, with the tank
under the grip, but the SL-68-II is the only marker I can think of
with the ASA cast right into the handle.

If you're interested in acquiring one, have a look around. Many
fields use(d) them as their pump rentals, so there are lots of
secondhand ones floating around. You can get the manual from the
Tippmann website, and they may be able to help you out with parts and
whatnot as well. It wouldn't hurt to call them and ask if they have
any left, either. The folks there are super helpful.

PS. Check out http://pumpplayers.org/ if you haven't already.

Cheers,
Rick

Oh, hey, not at all. Us pump players gotta stick together,
an' all that. =) If you're looking for more paintball links,
or ones for the different pump marker owners' groups, have a look
at the paintball section of my bookmarks:

Semi-auto speedball usually degenerates into WWI trench warfare,
while stock games nearly always look like some sort of John Wu movie.
