hi there,

i have a spyder tl with an esp 3.0 trigger and i'm using a 9v revy
with crossfire air.

the problem:

At high rate of fire, like 10bps (on full auto), the gun keeps burping
(air), and i have to recock the gun manually.

what do u think the problem is....
i might need to oil it, but on semi auto its fine.

since the loader is not a force feed, can it be it?

the air is fine(no recharge problem there)

it did it only 1 in semi auto.

Could be lack of oil or reg malfunction, but I'm a paintball noob. What do
you think Jeff?

Give it some pepto-bismol, and call me in the morning. : )

Sounds like the sear isn't fully engaging the striker or you need an
expansion chamber: pressure is dropping enough that the gun won't recock.

If the ESP trigger has the ability, you might want to change the pulse width
lower. I know the Mako storm triggers have that feature, unknown about the
ESPs.

At 10bps, how long before it won't recock? 1 second? 10 seconds? Is
everything else stock?
Does it not recock at a lower ROF?

It woudln't be a loader problem, if it wasn't loading fast enough, you'd be
chopping balls and spraying paint out the front.

It's not a loader problem at all. It's either a friction problem, or an air
delivery problem.
Start by oiling your marker and checking the o-rings. If that all looks ok,
you're air system could be starving your marker at high rates of fire. It's
possible that your reg won't keep up, but not very likely. Are you using a
remote, or an on off valve? I have seen some marker/tank combinations that
restrict air flow when the tank is screwed all the way on. Unscrew your tank
about 1/4 turn and see if that helps.

it will have to wait until this weekend, cuz i dont have the gun with
me,
things i'll do

1-oil everything
2-put back old hammer, might be the problem, there was 1 with the esp,
but i'll check
3-i did the unscrew the bottle thing but i'll give it another try,
might be it
4-i doubt the reg on the bottle is the problem, crossfire reg are
normally good for a lot more than 10 bps, but i'll check.
5- i dont see the need for a expension chamber, exp. chamber is for
allowing co2 to convert into gas,,, i'm using air so i dont need it.
6-loader's not the problem
7-i strongly suspect the lack of oil.

when i shoot semi, its fine.

Some Spyder bottom lines have an air filter in them. Make sure it's not
clogged or just remove it if you're only unsing air..

Also, your valve spring could be too stiff.
