I started the topic and Im back after being called a loser an all that.
I might point out that I had 2 nephew twins at 12 yrs old along with
the 2 14 year olds. That made my team 4 kidddies out of ten strong.
Does that not make the guys with higher powered guns bullies?
Ive been called a loser and to get a more powerful gun etc. The fact
remains that weekend warriors like to win. Also the boss on the site
(Camouflage Alton) stated, "You are imagining things" on complaint. To
shoot with accuracy at trebble verocity at kids yielding GAT guns is a
mighty brave act.
MANY THANKS to all who supported my cause in that the firepower of guns
on sites varries widely between rental and self owned. After all I knew
I was right all along when the liar of a manager disputed the fact.
"All guns are the same"
I dont mind losing....if the competition is equal....
For all I know the m'nager himself was firing on me too. If you are
reading, perhaps you would like to repeat your words now?

I think he originally posted about 6 months or so ago about some field
in the UK where he and some kids got their asses kicked by some more
experienced players with "higher powered" guns.
Apparently getting hit with paintballs should be pleasant.

That's his own fault. They probably have different regulations in the UK.
Like 150fps.

You have to aim 4 feet above the other players head, then cross your fingers
the paintball breaks.

I'll try to avoid that.

Nope. Paintball is one of the few games where age and gender are almost
non-factors.

Honestly, you really are in a justification mode. If you can't stand the
heat, stay out of the kitchen. If you don't want to play with the uber-guns
of the weekend warriors for some reason, don't. There are plenty of places
that have basically "newbie only" games.

For the most part, the gun doesn't matter. What matters is the experience
of the player. I've been playing for a long time, and you can literally
hand me ANY paintball gun and I'll be competitive. It's your lack of
experience that was killing you, not your equipment.

> I dont mind losing....if the competition is equal....

Competitions rarely are. That's the whole point. If competitions were
equal, there would be little point in taking part. The idea of competition
is to find out who's better. You found out, and are dissappointed with what
the result was.

Jeff, now there you go making sense, will you stop posting when you are
making sense.

People just dont expect that from you.

But seriously though, everywhere I have played they make efforts to separate
the newbs from the experienced, or at least split up the experienced
players. Now those who play with integrity know to not light up a newb,
especially a kid, it does ntohing for the ego, or the resume, its just in
poor taste. Way back when the guy first posted, he said that the field
owner hung a bunch of young kids out to dry for target practice for real
players. His claim was not only that they were sent out as target practice,
but the others were firing hot, way hot. Now if there is anyone on here who
really agrees with that then they are jsut poor sports.

Sorry, I was a bit out of my gourd at the time.
