Well, it has been quite a year for this rookie (now novice). As some may
remember, I started here about 9 months ago. I started with a Spyder Victor
II and got some good advice here for upgrades. Shortly after that (and much
searching), I settle on a Dye DM4 and used that the rest of the year. I did
use a PGP Sheridan pistol for some outings (including an all-day stock pump
day). After a very cold weekend first of November, I stopped for the season.

Shortly after that, I sold my DM4 to buy my son a notebook computer. I
foolishly thought I was giving up paintball. Well, you know that can't
happen! To keep my budget down, and improve my skills, I plan to be shooting
a Phantom next year. It should come in this week and I probably will try
some indoor fields.

Thanks for the help!

You mentioned owning a PGP. I'm curious, why not just use that? If you're
planning on getting a Phantom, a pump gun, why not just stick with the PGP
and save that money, if money is the issue? A baggie of paint and a pair of
12grams will do you all day with a PGP, and it's just as accurate, if not
more accurate, than the Phantom. Seems silly to have two fine pump guns
when one fine one will do.

Can't get those anymore, Tony. I think my partner actually got the very
last one off the production line.
