worr games came out with cheap autocockers. the problem is the
following: they don't have a front block and all the pneumatics are
permanently built in. So much less room to upgrade (but timing is
easier)
they're cheap as hell (for autocockers) too... $250 for the "pro" and
$200 for the "competition"
now what i'm wondering is, are these really worth it? it's a cocker,
but at the same time it's more of a rec gun for a 14 year old than an
actual mid/high end gun...

The low end line is designed to hit mass marketing areas like Wal-Mart,
Kmart etc. My understanding its an offshore manufactured line and there will
still be a second high end line. They purposely simplified them for a
wider/broader audience. I associate it to you can buy a base model 2005
Mustang or you can up the cash for a 2005 GT Mustang, as you upgrade,
maintenance required etc is higher and more expected of the owner/operator.
Then again, it doesn't stop incompetent users from buying the wrong model

From what I've seen so far they are working just fine, and truth be told
some of the "upgrades" people do to Cockers are just ego boosts. For the
money (and the prices you quote are actually a bit high) they jump all over
a mechanical Spyder or similar gun, only if you're a spray-and-pray style of
player would these guns disappoint.

I haven't seen these yet but they sound interesting. Might be a good deal for
someone looking for a simplified cocker. Actually, not being able to change out
to a bunch of aftermarket parts might be a good thing for some people
If they're that cheap, I may have to pick one up just to see how it works..

i went and bought a "competition"
having hosed down most of my shed out back (my target because it's the
only thing in the yard) i foud it to be much like the rest of the
cockers i've shot: quiet, pretty accurate and without the anoying
spyder kick (yes i know kickback isn't much on paintball guns, but it's
still smoother). the only problem i have with it is the one and a half
finger hinge frame (can fit 2, but not comfortably)...
kicks the crap out of my bob long spyder (electra is a different beast
alltogether)
