really! wow I figured there would be two or three on the market. Half to see
if I can rent it from local video store. see how it is.

There don't seem to be any for xbox other than the Greg Hastings title right
now. There have been a few for PC that have been lousy to lame, at best
(basically going from Splatterball to Extreme Paintbrawl). It seems like Greg
Hastings will be a decent game. I haven't played it yet, but did see the demo
video on a buddies modded xbox...it looks pretty decent. Buncha real pro
players, real equipment, real looking fields....no guarantees about gameplay
though.

In addition, if you search for greg hastings paintball on ebay, you'll already
find that people have created a mod to make the button you use to fire into a 2
finger trigger (essentially a trigger shoe that screws into one of the top
buttons of the xbox controller)....

I'm hoping toh ave my xbox modded and have the game on it in the next month or
so, at which point I'll give a more thorough review.

Well I would have to say yes to that one...seeing as how a game by itself
without the system would be kind of pointless! lol Would be kind of like
having a case of paint, but no marker....throwing them just isnt effective
as shooting them at someone!

Ok, well the gameplay is very good, but once in a while seems like the
computer team-mates just took a bunch of stupid pills...other times your
A.I. team-mates run down the field elimating everyone within a minute of the
start!
Anyway....i'd have to say its a must-play! If you have Xbox Live, just buy
the game...playing online is a lot of fun, and you can even set it up so
everyone has the same equipment...that way it makes things a little more
even!

I agree, after playing this game at work no less on an employees Xbox, it was
enough for me to go out an purchase both the game and the Xbox to play it on. I
was quite impressed with certain "realism" aspects such as sounds, paint
whizzing past you, paint hitting bunkers/structures made of various
materials..ie: wood, and inflatable bunkers...sounded very real. It does seem
however that the AI players move a bit faster than you're able to, but overall,
this game is well worth the cost in entertainment value. Not having been a game
console fan (prefer pc mouse/keyboard games)I wasn't sorry I went out and
dropped over $200.00 on the game/console/smaller controller. Word has it that
certain "issues" with this game will be addressed if not having been already,
and will be fixed in the next Paintball game due out next year.
