I'm wondering who here still plays wilh slider frame cockers. I recently
got out of playing tourneyball and the intimidator is collecting dust.
Decided to pick up a cocker and try to get people in my area that still
plays with non-RT mechanical markers to come out and play a weekend. Maybe
it's me, but it seems as though most of the people who own old school
cockers tend to be in my age group (30+). I personally have had enough of
the create-your-own-bunker-out-of-paint Electros and have decided to play
the game the way I learned it...strictly mechanical. Granted I'm not as old
as some of you old farts with the pumps but I'd take a pump game over
zit-infested speedball anyday. Sorry for the rant but I'm old...

We play pump every couple of months for shits and giggles. It's usually the
most fun all year. Get yourself a pump kit for the cocker and turn it into a
sniper2 ( I believe that;s what they are).
Pump rocks!

I would honestly just buy a phantom. Those are the best (and most fun) pumps
I've ever shot.

I actually just traded out my PGP for a 99 STO cocker. On the flipside, he
threw in a hinge frame that I will be putting on as soon as it gets here, so
it probably doesn't count anymore .

I need one of those pump kits for a pre-2K body.. if anyone knows where I can
get one. I can't seem to locate any.

I still use a slider on my eclipse...

The roller sear made it far more comfortable for me personally than any hinge
trigger or electro out there.

I'm sure either can be shot more quickly by someone with an electro / hinge
type finger....I just find that the roller-slide is fastest for me
personally...and zero shortstroking.
