If you want to buy a cheap-ass made-in-China ripoff then you can expect to
pay the price for that decision later. Over and over again I've seen kids
at the field with these POS guns trying to get them to work, they can never
explain why they bought them other than they were a few bucks cheaper, or in
the case of the "Silver Bullet" because it's all shiny. If you want a
paintgun that will work and last forever, get a Tippmann. If you have to
have a Spyder-style gun, then get a Spyder, not a copy. Maybe if you're
only going to play a few times a year a Mongoose or whatever would be okay,
but if you're really going to get into paintball then you'll be way happier
down the road buying something a little better.

I'll agree with Devin here. Tippman's the way to go for rugged. Spyders and
Pirahnas are the 'top of the line' as far as over-under blowbacks go. I've seen
plenty of nicely working knockoffs, though, since it's kinda hard to **** up
two tubes and some springs, but most of the time said springs and seals have
been replaced, and various parts tinkered with.

Many of the clones change the design of one or two parts, and when those
break and you can't find a replacement, you're screwed. It makes me wonder,
with Ford, Toyota and Chevy all available, why do people buy a Yugo knowing
the closest dealer is 500 miles away?

Wait, didn't they stop making Yugos? As far as I've found, they're junk anyway,
so the only reason to buy one would be because it's cheap as hell. You know,
like a Tercel, or a Metro.
