Is $100 a good price for a used Phantom pump in pretty good shape? It is a
right-feed, with what appears to be a constant-air adaptor to hook to a drop forward. http://home.insightbb.com/~autococke...s/image008.jpg Good price or not? Thanks, everyone. :-) Eric |

Brand new they can be had for under $200. |

Brand new they can be had for under $200. The other thing to consider is that Phantoms generally retain their value much better than most used guns. What I do when buying a relatively unknown item(to me) on ebay is I search the completed auctions for similar items to find out what the going rate is. I think 100 bucks for a Phantom in good shape is pretty standard if memory serves. -- Jeff Goslin - MCSD - www.goslin.info It's not a god complex when you're always right |

that's not a bad price.. Especially if you are already in the market for a Phantom anyway. I'd offer maybe a little less for it and see if he'd take it, but even at $100 with the bottomline already in place, it's not a bad deal. Billy Goodman - Pukin Dogs http://www.pukindogspaintball.com |

>recall correctly. having owned numerous examples of both Phantoms and Trracers, I can tell you that the Phantom is a cut above the Trracer. The overall quality and out of the box performance of the Phantom is simply better. The Phantom comes with a better barrel and shoots more consistently, in my opinion. The valve system seems to be more reliable, not to mention much quieter. And the Phantom uses a little less plastic in important places. Billy Goodman - Pukin Dogs http://www.pukindogspaintball.com |

Jump on it. That is a good deal. You would pay $200 or so for the same
thing new. $135 wouldn't be unreasonable for that configuration if in good shape. The Phantom is hands down the best pump for less than $500, at which point we start talking used Carter's. -- Jose I.
