I am looking at some high end markers and am being drawn to Bob Long
Intimidators The lower end Bob Long's seem to be 2k2, Z-series, Storm, ECX Other than the board, its hard to figure out whether the +/-$100 is getting a better gun or just a name/milling. can someone give me an idea of what to expect between these few markers? Thx |

I think the Bob Long markers are some of the best looking markers made.
Other than that, they are too little performance for too much money. -- "Don't be misled, bad company corrupts good character." www.LCTPaintball.com www.LCTProducts.com "JumpingLogs" <jumpinglogs@nc.rr.com> wrote in message news:vhzYb.15917$%d3.1617550@twister.southeast.rr. com... > I am looking at some high end markers and am being drawn to Bob Long > Intimidators > > The lower end Bob Long's seem to be 2k2, Z-series, Storm, ECX > > Other than the board, its hard to figure out whether the +/-$100 is getting > a better gun or just a name/milling. > can someone give me an idea of what to expect between these few markers? > > Thx > > |

I think this is it; the first Intimidator. Ugly POS.

In addition to it just being overall ugly, it was the longest paintgun on
the market, in contrast to Autocockers, Spyders and Spyder clones, Automags, etc. I remember first seeing it in a store (cannot remember the name) in West Covina, California. It was an anodized faded blue and silver. I couldn't imagine who'd buy such a thing. Sure it may have performed exceptionally well back then, but, like I said to the shop owner, "I wouldn't be caught dead holding that thing on the field it's so ugly". -- Mofaz "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake." - Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) "Mofaz" <sixstringbliss@spaminator.getnet.net> wrote in message news:4032e187$0$68986$4c5eba9e@news.getnet.net... > I think this is it; the first Intimidator. Well, I did imply six posts above that the current Bob Long models look
nice.
