Looks sharp. Some decent features and seemed to be solid marker, untill you
start shooting it. Breaks paint like crazy ,had trigger/grip problems. I
don't recommend it at all. though JT's newest marker coming out looks
interesting.

yeah, they look great, but i know a couple of people who are
dissappointed due to ball breaks and other problems. for just a little
bit more, i'd suggest looking at a tippmann or a PMI piranha. IMHO, for
blowback guns, they really are the class of the field. A friend of mine
just picked up a piranha with eframe, put a 2-piece smartparts barrel
on it and the thing is fast, accurate, quiet and gas efficient as
anything out there.

i just finished machining up a delrin bolt and lightened hammer for him
which doesn't do anything but help get rid of the reciprocating mass and
the blowback 'shakes' that while small, are common to all these guns. it
works, but we'll field test soon for reliability.

We had one for about 2 weeks. It was supposed to be a back up marker for
us. It broke paint like there was no tomorrow.

There are way better paintguns in that price range, the older JT models are
no longer made and parts etc. are going to become an issue, keep looking.

I spend more time working on it then I do with it out in the field. the
biggest problem I have with mine is it jamming up in the middle of a game or
braking paint when I try to pray and spray.

I only paid $99 for it( usd ).. cant complain..

If its breaking paint, theres gotta be a reason for that.. If its a
venturi - knock it out straight away, and open up the feed port in the
bolt.. that reduces the blast on the ball..

Are the parts from the JT compatible with " Spyder " style markers ? I have
a spyder imagine with all the fairy dust.. metal esp frame, Macdev barrel
kit, air america 4500psi 88ci cylinder and apocalypse adjustable reg.. and a
halo backman hopper.. got a spudnuk'l bolt.. it doesnt ever bust a ball..
unless the ball's already pretty much fubar.. but I have shot 2000 rounds of
" Field " paint without busting a single ball..

If the parts are compatible, I wouldnt mind some butchery work to see whats
worth scavaging from it..

Fopr the most part, they're compatible. not sure whethert the bolt is or not,
since the bodies from JT seem shorter, but it's possible. The grip should work
on either, and I know they use the same barrel threads.
