Maybe I haven't explained something here...

The natural gas service to this house is being terminated... no heat, no hot
water, no cooking at all.
We will have about $650 to work with in 2 days, and it is not enough to
cover gas for the car, AND meals + motel. It will only take 2 nights to get
there from Pittsburgh

I'm leaving becase of problems.

Imagine living in a building that is owned by a family member who wants you
dead... also imagine your heating and cooking source turned off, in the
middle of 20 degree weather.

Now imagine living in warmer climate, where you have a pool and A/C and not
have to worry about paying any utilities.

Which one would YOU choose?

How about selling some of your paintball equipment you just bought?

You say you will have 650.00. That sounds like enough to me. Learn how to
budget. Buy food at the grocery store for your trip and keep it in a
cooler. Stay at cheap motels like 35.00 or 40.00 bux a night. I think
650.00 is more than enough.
