While the link did not work, I know the marker of which you speak. It uses
proprietary paintballs, if memory serves, which is it's major drawback, meaning that you have to buy their paint, again, if memory serves. It serves to impress the mil-sim crowd, as it rather accurately simulates the real action of an M4/M16/AR15 whatever you want to call it. Ejecting "casings", having the exterior appearance such as it does, and so on. As a true paintball marker, you'll find it limited in what it can accomplish for you, and overpriced at that. If, OTOH, you are looking for a realistic scenario weapon for your tootling around the jungle on your day off, then this is your beast. -- Jeff Goslin - MCSD - www.goslin.info It's not a god complex when you're always right "Masterson" <caraudio@charm.net> wrote in message news pOdnUerQZoL4maiRVn-uA@comcast.com...> hey > anyone use or know anything about the real action marker m4? > > www.aisapaintball.com > > > Looking to see if they are any good.....they look good! > > > |

I don't have the original post, so I must reply to Jeff's reply.
Masterson: Unless you can modify the gun to shoot 600 feet per second it won't do you any good. Why? Because the RAM seriously lacks the range any .68 caliber shooting paintgun possesses. Most of the players that do own these guns play CQB (Close Quarters Combat) indoors. I know. I've spoken to many of them via an internet forum. The other drawback is what Jeff stated: .40 and .43 caliber paintballs. They are expensive and not available everywhere, so you may be stuck ordering them online. I'd like to suggest looking into an Armotech Wargames Series guns (www.armotech.us). I own a WG-65 R.I.S. with a modified clip kit to fit a standard 30 round M4/A1 magazine. Great gun, but not as realistic as the RAM. Which is why I have plans on turning an airsoft assault rifle into a paintgun. You can also look into purchasing from www.extremesportsandhobbies.com or www.rustyspaintballgear.com or www.getrealpaintball.com. -- Mofaz "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake." - Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) "Jeff Goslin" <autockr@comcast.net> wrote in message news:4K-dnYWmAK-EAGaiRVn-gw@comcast.com... > While the link did not work, I know the marker of which you speak.
