I got my Viking yesterday and was adjusting the trigger on it to something I
liked. During adjustment I noticed that after 100-200 shots the trigger firing point set screw would move. I assume this is due to vibration of the trigger/gun as it's firing. It "adjusts" itself so I can no longer walk the trigger and have to actually squeeze the trigger to get a shot off. That being said what is the best way to remedy the loose screw? Loctite? It has a JMJ razor trigger on it also if that matters. |

Loctite will work just a dab of it will do the job. Do not put too much or
you will more than likely strip the head of the set screw out trying to remove it. I use a product from loctite called Tite'n for bolts or you can use Loctite 271 Threadlocker. Both work great, but remember....a little dab will do ya.... I love that jingle. I bet most aren't old enough to remember the product that jingle came from. Google has multiple links to the phrase ''A little dab'll do ya'' all
referencing Brylcreem (or Brylcream). However the phrase was used for many products. Rearranging the letters of ''A little dab'll do ya'' gives: Totally bald? Ideal! It's a pretty famous jingle, so even those not old enough to have used the product will remember it Brylcreem(sp?) -- Jeff Goslin - MCSD - www.goslin.info It's not a god complex when you're always right |
