From: Patrick 'Pacman' McKinnon [mailto
acman@mxsportz.com]To: Smokin' Paintball - www.smokinpaintball.com Subject: Smokin Products' Hemp "OutLast" Pants To the Gang at Smokin' Paintball: Wanted to drop you a line and let you know what I think about Smokin's hemp "OutLast" player pants. I slid into a pair for the first time at William Shatners Spplat Attack II. First thing I noticed was how thin & light weight they are and wondered about how they would hold up. I hardly noticed I had the pants on during the day, ease of movement was a BIG PLUS! The internal Knee pads remained centered and after a couple kneels I forgot about them and played without worrying about if I take a hard knee to the ground would the knee pad be where its supposed to be. It was right there each and every time! Almost forgot... No tight restrictions around the back of my knee to cut off the blood flow to my legs. Thank you guys for that one. I wear these pants playing for up to 36 hours at a time and having the Ole Style knee pads that hang tight around your knees really, really gets old after 15 minutes. Seems some other companies forgot about blood flow to the lower half of your legs... Got home, washed the pants and not a tear or rip in them. They look like new!!! Subdued Company logos: Big enough to let everyone know who made the pants yet subdued where you don't stand out on the field. Can't tell you how many people I've shot out in games that were trying to hide in the bush only for me to see a Gigantic DYE logo sticking out like a sore thumb, Whack! whack! and the Big ole Dye pants stood up yelling "Hit Player" and took the walk off the field. MY favorite feature is what I call the "Tejas" Feature, for us big boys! From inside either front pocket I can simply reach in and adjust as needed, no more being bunched up while on the field & you know what I'm talkin' bout!!! If I have to explain it, then you don't need to know. ~Couple extra features - They don't "Swoosh" - they make no noise as you walk, no annoying swoosh as you're creeping through the woods. I found out that the hemp material keeps the thorns out and helps resist entanglements while moving through heavy brush. You guys really hit on something that Rec ball, Big Game and Scenario players will enjoy for years to come. My last thought is this... Why did you make them so durable? Seems like you'd want to sell players multiple sets of pants like the rest of the industry. With the Smokin' pants players will have a set of pants that will last them for years. Funny thing is you can't even grow out of them. Bloody adjustible waist sizing that built into the pants allows for any easy growth in the waist of several inches. Patrick "Pacman" McKinnon Pac's #1 Rule: Make sure the player your shooting at is having as much fun as you are! NOW AVAILABLE IN BIG XXL & XXXL "BigRide" SIZES TOO !!! www.smokinpaintball.com |
