Oh goody, a discontinued model by a company that no longer exists, with
lenses presumably made at least several years ago, what a deal. Why would I
want to buy a new Spectra mask for the same price when I can get a museum
exhibit like this from some spammer, gee, sign me up.

And if he puts them on ebay he'll get better than $39 each. Those
goggles are still highly

Same reason people spend $50 on splatmasters or $300 on KPs, or go ga-ga over
original viewloader hoppers or any other piece of classic paintball gear. To add
them to
collections.

There not at all that hard to find. Please don't tell me that you
honestly feel the Vents Rage is a collectors Item. He may well get
more then $39 on Ebay, though not to collectors. It'll be to the
idiots who frequent that place.

So now the Vents Rage is a classic piece of paintball gear? It wasn't
even their first model. People go ga-ga over original View Loaders due
to the percieved value of the new Brass Eable crap not because the
original is a "must have" item for their collections.

In which case an original Vents Predator mask would be the thing to collect,
great mask, not the Rage, which was a lower-quality product that appeared in
the dying days of that brand.

And anyone who pays that kind of money for the guns you describe has a
couple of screws loose, I recently picked up a KP-2 for fifty bucks, sold it
to somebody I know who is really into old Sheridans for exactly what I paid
for it, and I just gave away a Splatmaster that came my way recently.
There's tons of this stuff in attics and garages, gathering dust, to pay
fifty bucks for a Splatmaster is just too weird, but then that's the
collector mentality, they just have to have it and common sense goes out the
window.

either yer new to the sport (mid 90s new) or don't understand what I mean by ORIGINAL

viewloader hoppers. I'm not talking about pre-be VL2000s.
