This one is for sale on paintball-classifieds.com. The seller is asking
$265 for it, but seeing the condition it's in would you buy it?

http://www.paintball-classifieds.com/images/8990.jpg Picture can be
enlarged further.

Are we looking at the same picture? That doesn't look beat up to me. 265
seems like a hell of a deal if he's including the revvy and the tank. Or is
it just the mag?

The rail is a little chewed, but it has been stripped (easy to polish), has
a SS back barrel and has nice accessories including a metal aftermarket grip
(maybe a benchmark). Remember that a Mag is basically dummy proof. If you
have a shop tune it up once, you will not need to do a single thing to it
for years. Hose it off at the end of the day, make sure it is completely
dry before you put it away and it will give you years of trouble free
service. I would agree that $265 for the whole shebang would be acceptable.

The rail is stripped of paint in places and the grip frame is dented and
chipped. Did you enlarge the picture? You'll see it better if you do.

I'd say yeah, although if you look around there's some great deals to be had on
other mags (I think I've seen 265 for brand new power feeds someplace).

I had a mag up until the last year or so...just kept it kicking around in the
bottom of my paintball bag as a 'just in case' marker, since they vitually
always work. Finally got rid of it because I realized I'd have to really try
pretty damn hard to use up all of the cockers I had that I preferred over the
mag.

TKO mags from action village are about the same price. but then you'd have
to buy the tank. so if he's throwing the tank in its a pretty sweet deal for
an automag. two of my close friends have used mags from Skirmish that still
work great to this day probably 10 years old at this point. only thing done
was they bought better barrels and venturi bolts and rebuild the valve.

There was this kid awhile back with a Mag he bought on ebay, a Frankenstein
gun put together from pieces of other dead Mags, the power tube had been
broken and clumsily welded, every form of decay and abuse that can degrade a
paintgun had been inflicted on this poor thing. The guys at the field
worked on it for hours, couldn't get it to work, it was *that* trashed,
finally the kid sold the carcass for parts for fifty bucks. We all felt bad
for him, but what the hell you gonna do other than tell the kid he got
burned, almost as bad as this other kid who bought an ebay Spyder held
together with Crazy Glue....
