I have a tipp. 98 (not custom) thats been giving me problems, it's loud,
doesn't shoot straight and for some reason, wastes air like nothing (didn't always waste air) friends had these guns and I liked theirs, I might have gotten a bad one. anyway, I'm looking at getting a new paintball gun. my friend owns a shop, so I can get wholesale prices. I'm looking for a gun that is around 400 bucks (MSRP). I've been out of the "paintball loop" for a little while and things have changed a lot. I don't play all the time, I'd say mabye 10 to 15 times a year. but I want a gun that won't give me problems when I want to use it. I am also lookinng for something that is pretty accurate right out of the box (of course, eventually I will buy a new barrel for it) I don't really know the advantages/disadvantages between regular semi, the blowback bolt electro guns and the regular electro ones. any help you guys could give would be great. or if ya can point me in a web sites direction that could answer these questions. thanks! -Slick Nick |

You have a friend that owns a shop, but you ask us for advice? What's up
with that? BTW, look at the A5 -- "Don't be misled, bad company corrupts good character." www.LCTPaintball.com "habibe99" <habibe99@aol.comnospam> wrote in message news:20030917183501.28554.00001017@mb-m03.aol.com... > I have a tipp. 98 (not custom) thats been giving me problems, it's loud, > doesn't shoot straight and for some reason, wastes air like nothing (didn't > always waste air) friends had these guns and I liked theirs, I might have > gotten a bad one. anyway, I'm looking at getting a new paintball gun. my friend > owns a shop, so I can get wholesale prices. sorry, my friends runs a shop, but they sell more than just painball stuff.
they also sell surf boards and skate boards. (which is their main business) they just also have a small paintball shop. one of the guns he has there was called "silver bullet" I think it's made by 32 degrees. it comes with an expansion chamber, has some sort fo regulator on it, and it's electric. can do semi, full and 3 shot fire. has anyone used this gun? they sell for like 225, but I can get one for around 125. -Slick Nick |
