Something new looms within the wake of things to come. 68Caliber.com is
going to revamp its ideas and we are holding a contest within the community to see who can design the best, official 68 Caliber logo. Winner of the contest will receive: An HP Pavilion 725n Desktop Computer with a 2+GHz Processor, 512MB of DDR Ram,80GB Hard Drve, 16x DVD, CDRW, 56K Modem, 10/100 Ethernet, and Windows XP That's right! You have the chance to see your design, your "Picasso" on the face of all that is 68 Caliber to come PERMANENTLY! (well, at least until some other mug comes along with something better down the road) Seriously though, this is your opportunity to shine and be an even bigger part of the "68 Caliber Family"! If we choose your logo design you win the computer listed above!* That's a nice choice considering how easy design may come to some of you. Also, I can't stress enough how cool it will be to have your logo on videos, DVD's, websites, in magazines, at events and all kinds of other places for all of the paintball players across the world to see! This is going to be big folks! Make no mistake about it, or ON it! Now, don't go getting a big head and think that we'll straight up hire you! You'll at least have major bragging rights amongst friends, family and you'll also have a brand new computer! Who knows? This could launch you into a career with "ILM" or "WETA" even! (hey...the called me, they could call you!) Official Rules: The winning submission remains the exclusive property of 68 Caliber and it's affiliates. Submission deadline has been set to October 31, 2003. When we get all the entries in, we'll pick the 10 best and let all the members of PaintballChannel.Com pick the best logo. Please be sure to create your artwork in a workable 'document' created in a common file format. Formats: *.psd, *.ai, or *.eps preferred. Format should be hi-res enough for Print. Please do not submit any 'raster based' file formats such as *.jpg, *.gif, *.png, *.tif or *.bmp. Please embed or include any fonts used in the creation of your artwork. We ask that you compress your submissions into a single file using a common archive format such as *.rar, *.zip, *.ace or *.tar. We do require that the new logo design you create represents the full company name '68 Caliber' within the actual artwork. If you wish to include a new 'motto' or 'slogan' as part of the actual logo we will consider this as well. If you wish to incorporate the company URL of "www.68caliber.com", we will surely consider this too. Please do not feel that we have already predefined what we are looking for or that we will not give your artwork/design due consideration in all circumstances. The sky is the limit! You can submit as many art pieces as you wish and we ask that you provide us with as much contact information as possible with each submission in the event that your artwork is chosen and you win. This personal information will not be divulged to any 3rd party company or organization under any circumstances. Initial judges will be comprised of official 68 Caliber and PaintballChannel.Com staff, partners and affiliates only. 68 Caliber, PaintballChannel.Com, and FB Radio staff are restricted from entering this event as we want to eliminate any suspicions of favoritism. Please E-mail all submissions to: logocontest@68caliber.com. Please title your e-mail: "68 Caliber Logo Contest Submission!" Thanks, and good luck! |
