Or is there going to be a trade off? When I played in the woods, the best "man I gotta shoot that guy behind that bush" paint was proball. |

As far as not breaking once hitting a plant, one person in the Armotech
forum claimed the TC Viper Venom and Viper Platinum paintballs are pretty solid, going straight through bushes and other shrubbery. -- Mofaz "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake." - Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) "Why, you may take the most gallant sailor, the most intrepid airman, or the most audacious soldier, put them at a table together -- what do you get? > > -- I tried a case of bigball over the weekend in my medium bore barrel and it was all over the place. I couldnt find a single symetrical paintball in the bags...they were all different shapes. This was a brand new case sealed, etc. The store owner said that big ball was "recycled" paint... ground up and reformed into paintballs. I'm sure this has nothing to do with the quality though... just an interesting fact. Maybe they ran this batch on an old machine with lots of play, or maybe the machine was slightly out of adjustment. Regardless, It shot like crap and I was lit up more than once. The color was sort of a pale pastel orange. The dark blue/grey I shot once before (same marker) worked great... not sure what the deal is. I think next time I'll spend a little more and try something else. -tom |

Big ball is not recycled. My guess is it was stored improperly. All the big
ball I've ever shot has been round and flies good. It just has a very hard shell. -- "Don't be misled, bad company corrupts good character." www.LCTPaintball.com "Tom" <mykrowyre@yahoo.com> wrote in message news D0Ua.15921$BB6.312817@twister.tampabay.rr.co m...> > Big ball is hard as rocks. > > > > -- > > I tried a case of bigball over the weekend in my medium bore barrel and it > was all over the place. Tom -
You could always get one of those cheap kid's rock tumblers from the local Wally-World and put your milk dud shaped paint in there. Fill it about half way with the paintballs and start tumbling. Check it every twelve hours or so until it is round enough to shoot. Did that with a bad batch of RPS a long time ago, and it wasn't as good as a good case, but it was better than throwing it at the wall after it jammed my gun. --Joseph |
