You can usually pick them up for $100-$150 per 500 balls. If you think about it, how much do you spend on paint? i'll go low and say $50 a case of 2000. so we'll say $150 for 6000 paintballs. You can shoot those 500 REballs (as in REusable)far more than 6000 times through your paintball marker. the cost upfront may be high, but it pays off GREATLY in the future.

 thats a lot of $ though, plus they're a pain to find after you shoot them i'm guessing, what are they made of?
