i was reading somewhere about 50 gram trigger micro-switches for spyders. i own a diablo mongoose reincarnation 2 led, which is basically a spyder. does anyone know where i can find a 50 gram micro switch that is already pre sauldered, meaning that i can just pop the old micro switch out from the board and pop the new one in?

Your best and cheapest option would be picking one up at Radio Shack or the equivilant. Even with all the soldering material (if you need to pick them up) it would be cheaper, probably $10-15 depending on what you get.

Soldering is very very easy and IMO is the best option as there are probably not too many people that have the correct harness for a Mongoose. And thoose that do have them will charge like around $10 plus shipping, which isnt worth it to me.

Another option would be to pick up the new T-Board, I know they come with a new switch and eyes and fit into a Mongoose.

IM or PM me with any questions regarding soldering, I'll try to get up a soldering guide soon.

The switches found in paintball markers are general ones that the company purchases from an outside manufacturer. If you can easily remove your switch from the marker you can bring it to RadioShack or whatever and show them that you need a replacement for it, and they should be able to help you out.

Well, I can see where he is coming from. Its a brand new gun that you havent even played with yet. Its probably a good idea to go out and play at least a few times with it, and later on you can always do the mod.

oh, and btw, that trigger switch mod you did in the spyder mod thread, i have a few questions.

1.do you bend that little metal piece up towards you, or down towards the bottom of the plastic?

2.how light does it make your trigger? is it really that noticeable?

3.when i push the trigger pin out, and take the trigger spring out, to make the pull lighter, how much would i cut off of the spring?

4. is loc tite necessary after you push the pin out and put it back in.

5.will the red stuff work?

1) Bend the part to the right, or towards the back of the marker

2) It should lighten it up considerably, remember, the more you bend that part the lighter it will get, but make sure not to bend it too much.

3) To cut the spring you will need something that can cut metal ha ha. That mod is more about a complete spring removal, having the trigger rest on the switch itself and using the screws as stops

4) Yes loctite is good because it will stop your screws from loosening, since it is important that they stay put for the mod to work.

DO NOT USE RED!!!!! If you use red say goodbye to ur gun cause its gonna get stuck that way. Only use BLUE so you can adjust later if need be.
