It wont necessarily affect the performance of your marker in away way. Drops are really used to shorten the length that the tank protrudes out the back of the marker so that the player can get a better handle on the gun.

The best way to see if the gun is setup correctly is to hold your gun with the tank attached facing downward and then bend your arm 90 degrees upward. If the back of the tank meets the break in your elbow, than your gun is setup correctly.

u should get a smart parts proggresive barrel which is a good beginner barell. It is about 40 dollers. Then you might want a new bolt. Those can go from 20-60 dollers. Maybe a mod. New feed neck, its about 30 bucks. All i really would suggest if you don't have much mulla is a new feed neck so your hopper isnt' sticking up really high. Then save up some money and try getting a new gun with some of the stuff you would want to upgrade to.

I would get the J&J Ceramic barrel. It's like $30 and it has some pretty good reviews.
