I play ice hockey very competatively and I think of that as "war" too. Do you honestly want paintball to be a sport like baseball? I dont. I want PB to be an xtreme sport that isn't as popular... I like it the way it is.

I think what trout is trying to get at is that paintball is still seen as somewhat juvenile and barbaric. There are still people out there that think all paintball is is hoodlums running around playing wargames in the woods, when it has evolved into so much more than that. Paintball, like any other sport, such as baseball or football, is an activity involving physical exertion and skill that is governed by a set of rules or customs undertaken competitively, which is basically the definition of a sport. It is technically a sport, whether or not you think of it in the terms of "war" or not, like you do with hockey edge.

Well put BigBoss. When I say War, i don't mean "WAR" neccessarily like going to the middle east and mowing the faces off of terrorists. I mean war like a battle against your enemy. For Paintball, sure it kind of feels like your in an actual "War" at times, but I don't mean it literally. And yes, people do look upon PB as a hoodlum "game"(not sport) with kids just going around shooting people, animals and things, and unfortunatly, that still does happen. Until we can stop that, people will always portray PB like that.

i ike playin paintball because ti is a hardcore game painfull fun and it got me out of the streets into the Team Rebel paintball but we are only Rookie we just started a few weeks ago and won 2nd at a Tourney in Waco!!!!!!
