Ion, more bang for your buck. With the extra cash you can get a good compressed air tank or a better loader, even a nicer barrel (though it seems they changed them, one I got recently came with a barrel that resembled an old teardrop). Impulses arent up to snuff anymore and I think it would be wise to get the Ion. Its a solid marker with a lot of potential and the eye logic is great. Havent had a single chop yet and I have put 10000+ through it. You wont be dissapointed.

well with the money ur talking about milling the impy and stuff u could upgrade your ion cp reg,cp trigger,barrel... i prevously owned a impulse i loved it but i got the ion omg this thing is just amazing compared to the impulse. go with the ion and speed isnt anything i would rather 1 ball a guy in the face instead of shooting a hopper at the guys bunker.o ya there r also coming out with a was board for the ion
