Dude this so frecken awsome! Befor I start to mod my own halo I have a simple question...victory board...How do you know if your halo has one? Is it a bord that was made after the halos wear made? I was talking to a good friend about this enw bord comming out for halos but I cant remember if it was the victory board or not...

Victory boards are strictly an upgrade. Halos have not been made with victory boards in them stock so you most likely have the Z-board in your halo. Another board that is being made is the Angry Halo board, which is probably the one you were talking about.

By the way in support of the 9v mod I did one last night and I am dead serious it is worth it. I got all the parts at radio shack it cost me less then $5 for the heat shrink and the harnesses themselves(pack of 5). It took me only a few minutes to solder everything and it seems like it works real well. I am going to pick up some heavy duty 9 volts and see if there is any benefit.

I would say probably the best reason to do the 9v mod is if you like rechargable nine volts. The reason rechargable AA's never worked is because they were only 1.2v and not 1.5v. Even though buying the batteries and the charger may be expensive, by doing this mod and using them it will even out in the end since you will save on buying batteries all the time.
