Well, the ION has impulse threading just as an FYI..the smart parts all american barrel, or a stiffi, or CP (Custom Products) are all great after market barrels. You may want to look into a new inline reg because the ION stock is a gas hog. A clamping feedneck is also a good upgrade. you may want to look into a new ASA with on/off..the stock trigger is ok, but you don't really have to upgrade it.

dude seriously dont get an ion, yes some people have finacial problems but if your going to buy an ion and then put all these parts into it. than why not save up for a bit and buy something you really want without havin to dump a million unessesary parts into it. thats my opinion but if you still want to get the ion than buy a freak back with an all american front its the best combo. but make sure its a 16 incher. and good luck on the field
