I'm just curious to find out how everyone out there feels about the new stuff compared to the old ones. I personally still like the DM4 just cause it shoots fast and looks nice, but the M5 and M6 are nice too I'm sure as well as the proto's. So whatever you're oppinions are, please post.

I have to agree with PB4Life, all matrixes do shoot the same. I had a DM4 when they came out, have a DM5 now, and have played at least one game with all the others and there really wasnt any difference IMO.

The size thing and weight is really the only difference, and even that is barely noticable in the new 06s.

Overall I love the matrix line. They shoot extremely well and are the quietest out there.

but they are possibly the smoothest shooting guns ever. no kick at all. ball on ball. if i was gunna have a gun for just shootin around in the yard or sumthin that would be it.

Weight isn't the critical thing for me, performance is key and durability. I mean I still see people compete with vikings and old Angel LCD's, and the Matrix LCD.

you guys need to check out the dm6. I just got mine in and holy crap it's amazing. It's just as light as an ego and the new Ultralite frame has the best feel i've ever held on a PB gun. Crazy stuff.

I'm sure it is based on what I'm hearing. And soon for anyone who owns a DM5, you will be able to replace the trigger frame with the new ultralite frame. I still feel though that the M4 and M5 are very excellent guns and perform very well, and they'll be even cheaper now.

ya the dm4s are hella cheap now and the dm5 will start lowering which kinda sucks good thing im never getting rid of mine. as for the ul frame one of my guys got one yesterday at caljam for his dm5 and its so much lighter. but the gun looks kinda funny it cause im used to seeing that frame on only 6s so it makes the 5 look like a taller 6 kinda gay. but hell of an upgrade. especialy if u dont have a chip in ur dm already cause in the dm6 boards u get psp and millenium stock as well as "nppl mode" semi.
