Looks like Dye will soon be releasing another incarnation of the Matrix dubbed the DMC (Dye Matrix Composite). Could this in any way be an answer to SP's release of the ION?

I would expect it to have similar internals to what Dye has out right now, its the twist on this marker that is still unknown. Looks like a newer DM4. I think you can see the edge of the LPR cap at the end of the gun.
If by composite they are referring to a composite shell like that of the ion or if the entire body is made of a lighter composite material, then this marker could be huge. I think the complaint I hear most about DM4s and older Matrices is about the weight.

a lot of people complain about how heavy there gun is and it annoys me. out of the 2 years ive played paintball ive never notice if my gun is heavy. its just when im done playing or holding the gun. thats wat bugs me about people these days
