User Manual- Stock 5.0 w/ Musashi Board (short version): Green = Debounce (Defualt is 5) Purple = Dwell (Default is Yellow = Loader Delay (Default is 2) Blue = AMB Settings Red = ABS Dwell White = Fire Mode (Default is 1 or Legal) Teal = Fire Rate Buckle Up's Setup: TMC Trauma Matrix. Breech: Internal Eye wire, Cocker threaded Bolt kit: Stock Bolt (Gen-e or image?) C4 Backplug, Ghetto Top hat mod, Home made orracle bolt stop mod. LPR: PBC LPR (Black) Inline: CP Mini Reg Tank: 68/3000 Crossfire (High Pressure) Barrel: CP 1 Piece .698 Hopper: Halo B w/ Victory35 Board (Setting: 5) Paint: Chronic and Proto Debounce: Anything to test out the board Loader Delay: No Delay (Setting 1) Abs: 11 Tourney Lock: Off Dwell: 12 AMB: 1-5 Trigger setup: Cp roller. .5 mm pre-travel 1mm post travel. Installation: 3 minute installation. 1st, open grip and find microchip. Using a microchip extractor from radio shack (Or a small flathead), gently pry and remove the stock chip (READ THE MANUAL FOR DETAILED DIRECTIONS!!!!!! THE CHIP IS VERY VERY SENSITIVE!!!). Put new Tadao chip into the microchip bed. Replace grips. You are finished. Operation: Push the On/off button. You are ready to shoot. Nuff said. Performance Custom Setup- 1: Debounce:1 AMB: 5 Loader delay: Fastest Dwell: 18 Explanation:Well, this setting is so fast that I am afraid you would be pulled in an event. That said, i have to say that I enjoyed seeing what my nyx was capable of. The stream pattern was so tight I almost could not hear the impact of each individual paintball. I did get multiple shots with a single trigger pull. It was very difficult to not get the marker to bounce. With my short trigger pull I needed to get the amb setting a little higher. Custom Setting- 2: Debounce: 1 AMB: 10 Loader Delay: Fastest Dwell: 18 Explanation: With this set up i had much better control on the bounce of my trigger at slow pulls. I could only get double shots when I tried to find the sweet spot. Top firing speed was still waaaaay too fast to be humanly possible, as once the amb kicked off the trigger bounce took over. Very fun, but illegal! Custom Setting- 3: Debounce: 5 AMB: 10 Loader Delay: Fastest Dwell: 20 Explanation:This test eliminated the slow pull trigger bounce. I could post on bunkers and single shoot them all day. But when I really started walking the trigger the marker shot like a machine marker. This was the closest setting to what would be manual ramping. Very very very fast but still too fast to be believable. AT this point i was very impressed with the ability to adjust the performance sooo much. Custom Setting- 4: Debounce: 5 AMB: 25 Loader Delay: Fastest Dwell: 20 Explanation: Purely legal setup. Unfortunately when I shot my nyx at this setting, i suddenly felt slow. The chip in the marker was firing as fast as I could pull the trigger. So the bps was ALL me with no help. The marker fired flawlessly and shot as fast as I could pull the trigger but with no bounce. The ability to do this had to be difficult for the chip because with my trigger set up, it is almost impossible not to get a bounce here or there. But the chip would not allow that to happen. I really liked the fact that I could find a setting that could pass any robot testing on the planet. Now i did try to rake the trigger even though it is a cp. The bps did increase greatly in spurts as I found the correct pressure to get it to rake. I know that the cp is a blade, but it can also be raked if you apply light force with your finger as you go up and down the trigger. This made me excited for the fact that the marker in this particular set up could still shoot super fast without any bounce whatsoever. Very impressive. Conclusions: The first concusion that I came to with this chip is how Flop's technology is evolving. At certain settings my nyx could shoot faster than any marker i have ever seen. It was scary! BUT, with the bounce control settings this chip could allow the marker to shoot incredibly fast without any bounce. I never had a barrel break or a chopped ball in the test. This shows a good interface between the tadao programming and the eggi eyes. User control is a definate plus. As a owner you will have 100% more control over the performance of your nyx. Almost total customization. Also included in this chip is the ability to control the markers settings without opening the grip. This is a hallmark tradition for Tadao products and a welcome option for nyx owners. In a nutshell, if you excuse the cliche, the user friendliness, such as instant on, adjustability, and all out lightspeed performance, make this chip upgrade a great investment for nyx owners who want cutting edge performance.
